Story and Episode Titles

Crest of the Stars, or Seikai no Monshou, is hard to describe. It is a fairly new show, based on a series of books by Hiroyuki Morioka. This show tells the story of Jinto, a young human boy, and Lafiel, an Abh (alien) noble girl. A thousand and more years in the future, the human race has expanded throughout the galaxy. Jinto is a nobleman of the Abh-occupied planet Martine, a title gained by his father's betrayal of humanity. Jinto must go to a school to learn the ways of Abh nobility, and he is transported there by the battleship Gosroth, and namely by the beautiful Lafiel. Trouble ensues, however, when Gosroth encounters a fleet of the United Mankind, a rival of the Humankind Empire Abh. Lafiel and Jinto escape by themselves in a small transport shuttle, only to sink deeper into the new war... "You shall call me Lafiel!"

Banner of the Stars, called Seikai no Senki in Japanese, is a continuation of Crest. When Jinto is out of school, he at last is reunited with Lafiel- as a supply officer on the ship she captains. The war between the Humankind Empire Abh and the United Mankind has only escalated, and both sides are building their fleets. Jinto and Lafiel are thrust into the heart of the war as part of an advance fleet as the war rekindles, and on all fronts the people of the empire grow tense. As the fighting grows heated, Lafiel feels the need to prove her worth as a princess of the empire... and as an individual person.
