I love Crest of the Stars. It's an awesome show, it truly is. A true science fiction drama, set the distant future and places not known. Unfortunately, no one seems to know that much about it. For that reason, I've set up this site. This site focuses on the Region 1 DVD release of the show, and therefore uses the spelling and titles found on those discs. These spellings are different from the romanizations that were used by fans before the show was licensed, so some people may be confused. For that I apologize, but I want this site to encourage people to check the show out in Region 1, all three series of it.

Okay, so some basic information on how the show is set up: Crest of the Stars itself is a 13 episode TV series. That is the main focus of this site, though I am slowly adding content for Banner of the Stars and Banner of the Stars II. Crest of the Stars also has a 1.5 hour movie which condenses the whole series. However, there are also two sequel series, Banner of the Stars (Seikai no Senki) and Banner of the Stars II (Seikai no Senki II). Also, there is a one episode OAV called Lost Chapter of the Stars: Birth, about the circumstances surrounding Lafiel's parents. Quite a large universe, and all of them are good. ^_^

The day we never thought would come has arrived-- there will be new Seikai in the world! Both animated and in novel form. First off, Natsume Maya, a very reliable news site, has posted that production work has started on the Seikai no Senki III anime. It's unclear at this point whether it will be a TV show, an OVA, or even a movie, but at this point, I'm not complaining.

And secondly, Morioka-san has released a fourth Seikai no Senki novel! Seikai no Senki IV is available through Amazon.co.jp here. The cover art is quite lovely, and I'll be adding it to the books section soon. The title is "Kishimu Jikuu", or "To Jar Space-time". Hey, I don't title the books, I just translate them. Sort of. ^_^
