Lafiel is my favorite character. She's spunky, incredibly proud, intelligent, and just down-right cool. She is a princess of the Humankind Empire Abh, the grandaughter of the current Empress. We don't know too much about her past until late in the series, so there's not too much I can say here that isn't a spoiler. Suffice it to say that she is very sensitive about cats. ^_^
