Jinto is a doormat who doesn't deserve Lafiel. *coughcough* That said, I must admit he wasn't half bad during the later episodes, and rose to several occasions quite well. He seems quiet and submissive, but underneath he is as hard and proud as Lafiel, as she discovers eventually. Jinto can be resourceful, and he spends a lot of time thinking of the little details that Lafiel's Abh mentality overlooks. Jinto is the son of the count of Martine, essentially a prince, a title gained by his father's betrayal, and he has lived with that knowledge for many years.
