MISCELLANEOUS Any show I collect that is not a favorite, and is not a CLAMP show, goes here. This is the section for the shows where I felt I needed a cel of a character, but didn't like enough to make it a main collecting interest. Ah! My Goddess This was one of my very first anime shows. I adore the artwork and the characters, but it's so expensive to collect. So here's my little tribute to AMG, and cheap cels from it. Someday I'll add a Skuld. Yeah. Someday.   Violinist of Hameln Gorgeous artwork, complex story, well-written, incredibly tragic characters with seriously messed up childhoods. What's not to love? Cels from VoH are relatively cheap, but good ones are hard to find. I'm only collecting a few each of my favorite characters, but even so, I see many more VoH cels in my future. Tenshi Ni Narumon The first time I saw this show, I hated it. Way too cutesy. Way too sugary. Way too much crack. Then I saw it again. And I fell in love. ^^; It makes no sense, I know. Attribute it to months of slowly falling in love with the art in the cels, and deciding that if I could ignore Miaka and still like FY, then I could also ignore Noelle. And so, I bought my first TNN cel. There will be many more. Lost Universe I have a strange fondness for this show. It's best described as Slayers meets Star Wars, I think, with heavy emphasis on Han Solo. I really love Kane Blueriver, the main character, so normally this would only go under my 'Miscellaneous Bishounen' section... except I have two of them! Mwahahahaha, Kane gets his own section!   Weiss Kreuz I've been waiting for the perfect, yet affordable Aya cel to come along for a long, long time. My friend Lordess knows this, and gave me two line studies as a sort of place holder until I find a decent Aya cel. I have no idea what they are... the best guess I've heard is that they're proofs for hanken cels that never got painted. If that's so, it's probably the closest I will ever come to a hanken myself.     Vision of Escaflowne This may very well have been my first anime show ever. I love it dearly, and rewatch it on a regular basis. Unfortunately, the cels are so expensive! That, combined with the fact that the good ones are really hard to find, has left me with almost no interest in collecting Esca cels. Lucky me. ^_^ Occasionally though, one will fall into my lap that is cheap enough to afford and happens to be from a favorite scene. And, of course, I needed one perfect Allen cel.   Inu Yasha This is the series that got me into cel collecting. I love this show, and I love all the characters in it. Especially Inu Yasha. The problem is, for all the many episodes that have been made (and still are being made), an amazingly small number of cels have found their way to the market. And there are a lot of other people who want them. And they're expensive. But dammit, he's my favorite anime character of all time. And he's bishy. And I want him. If I can't have him, I'll take as many cels of him as I can possibly get my hands on. Ronin Warriors/Yoroiden Samurai Troopers Man, another show that holds strong memories for me. I only want a few cels from this show: nice ones of my favorite characters. Even so, the art tends to be variable enough that that goal is hard to fulfill.   Fancy Lala So Fancy Lala is a wonderful show that is totally overlooked. I'm not sure why, and I'm not sure how, but for some reason Lala is an utterly under-appreciated show. It's sweet and thoughtful and just the show for cold winter's day. Jubei-chan the Ninja Girl: Secret of the Lovely Eyepatch By my favorite director Akitaroh Daiichi, Jubei-chan is a prime example of why I love him so much. This series is by turns absolutely hilarious, truly upsetting, and more human than 'most any other anime I've ever seen. It was really only a matter of time before I started collecting the cels. Miscellaneous Bishounen Wheeee! I do so love my bishounen. I'm a fangirl, so it's not like this should come as any surprise. Often a character design will catch my eye and, even if I've never seen the show, I'll want a cel of the one boy. So here is my little bishounen cel harem. Enjoy the pretty boys. ^_^ True Miscellaneous These are the odd-ball cels that I got because they appealed to me in some wierd way that doesn't fit in my normal collecting parameters. They are the lovely little mysteries, the flaw that perfects the work. The oddities that make me smile.
