| Damn, DAMN cool cel. I'm a science fiction fan born and bred, so this cel appeals to me on many different levels. First off, it's just cool looking. I think it may be one of my favorites. Secondly, it has a really neat set up. The background is just the blue, the starfield, and the ring you see off to the right. Then it's got a foreground layer, cut out cardboard, of the bubble and the towers. The acetate layer is nothing more than the pointy things sticking up from the bubbles and towers. I'm told this is from Macross 7. Someday, I've really got to watch that show. Cel is labelled 3-66 Book #3, with some kanji I can't read across the top. No line fading, and some absolutely gorgeous artistic work. |
